I think it's lazy for people to say "barca cheat and play act".

Every single team in the world scream in a refs face when they think they should have a penalty or an oppo player should be sent off. Ogbonna was straight over to the ref for the ayew red card and clapped and applauded him when he sent him off.

It's just part of the game now. Look at how many rolls the ox did last night. It goes on everywhere.

Wouldn't swap Mertesacker for any of our defenders, so clumsy, was his fault they gave the penalty away.

To be fair, Ozil has scored 2 in the Champions League so far including one against Bayern Munich in the group stage.

Must admit they have some wonderful players but some of the playacting & cynicism last night was disgraceful.
They don't need that and it certainly leaves a sour taste.
Werent at their best but Messi scored twice and both Neymar & Suarez should have done the same.
Still think they are vulnerable to someone like Bayern who will be more disciplined and have more of a cutting edge.

Wenger looked crushed at the end.
Can imagine his face at the end of the season and the reaction of the fans when as I expect they blow the league and hand the title to Spurs.

They picked out Pique's deliberate yellow card on BT Sport

heard a bit on the bbc from one of the spanish journos saying how good barca are at 'working and managing the referee'.

speaking to him in the warm-up, making sure the big names are in his path before kick-off so can say hello to him, then in his face all throughout the game.

Find it hard work watching barca myself.

They're everything thats good and bad about the game rolled into one.

The brilliance is forgotten the second the histrionics start and never has there been a team so protected by referees.

Not watched them since they were given one of the most ridiculous penalties ever earlier in the season.

With those players, they don't need to cheat and its a shame.

As for arsenal, will do them a favour having the league to concentrate on, but they'll always be fuck all until they finally replace Henry.

Hang on, who said I wasn't interested?? Why are my words being taken out of context? I'm talking about a running match thread on a Arsena match on here. Doesn't sit well with me, but whatever floats your boat..

Btw, after listening to Mcmanaman, it's all is forgiven come back Michael Owen..

Good game for the neutrals...
phenomenal front 3 performance by Messi...Neymar ...Suarez...

Faultless display by Curbishley reject Mascherano...

Ozil yet again went missing in Euro games...Zero Assists...or Goals in 7 games...

Wenger's lot had a few chances...didn't take them...so got beat...Justifyingly so...

Now they should focus on The League...to Spurs' detriment...

Re: Arsenal v Barcelona
I like the way, Arsenal got this very wrong, FA Cup they play a weekend team and draw with Hull, now need a reply in a very tight schedule, there rested players didn't do too well and could have done with a game on the weekend maybe? Barcelona on the other hand dont ever seem to rest players in quite the same way, if they are fit, they play.

Think, not just Arsenal but English clubs can learn a lesson here.............

Good result for Arsenal. No champions league will really help their title challenge.

Fair result, IMO. The better team won and deserved it. Yes, Arsenal could have got a goal, but Barcelona could have got more. How did we get on at the Emirates? :-)

Lol, it's funny to see how you suddenly defends English teams in CL or EL, even those you love to hate in the PL

Barca away couple have scored 10 goals, and still you think arsenal were close, unlucky, o even wanting them to have better players... LOL
